Then tap on your app icon to view the full analytics.

In the top right, you can use the date filter to drill down to a specific date range.

The nav menu consists of four tabs:

  • Overview

  • Acquisition

  • Metrics

  • Retention


Overview

This page consists of different metrics displayed in small charts. You can tap into any of the charts to drill down further.

  • Impressions - The number of times users viewed the app's icon on the Today, Games, Apps, and Search tabs, as well as the app's product page.

  • Product page views - The number of times the app's product page was viewed on the App Store

  • Conversion rate - Total downloads divided by unique device impressions

  • Total downloads - The number of first-time downloads and redownloads on devices

  • Sessions/active devices - The number of times the app has been used for at least two seconds on a device

  • Crashes - The total number of crashes

Below the top charts, you can see info like referrer information, average retention, and downloads by device.


Acquisition

This page consists of two tabs, "Source" and "Campaigns".

The Source tab displays data from different acquisition sources like App Store Search, Web Referrer etc.

The Campaign tab allows you to create a campaign link that can be used for advertising, promotions, or marketing. When a user clicks the link, they'll be redirected to the app's App Store page.

Click the "+" button to create a new campaign.

Campaign performance will be tracked on this tab.


Metrics

The Metrics page allows you to drill down and filter data. This page can help you identify trends. The page uses dropdowns and filters to select specific metrics.

The first dropdown allows you to select metrics from App Store, Downloads, Usage data.

The second dropdown allows you to select a second dimension of data like Date, Geography, and Source.

Retention

The Retention page contains information about how engaged your app users are after the initial download. You can also see referral information and determine how well App Store optimization, marketing, or advertising efforts is performing.
